Description
At the foot of the Swabian Alb, on the banks of the River Rems, lies the village of Mögglingen. Tiny as it is, there is plenty for visitors to explore. The remains of the Roman border fortification known as the Limes, for example, a church tower in the Romanesque style, or a chapel in picturesque surroundings. The local history collection – housed in the Micheleshaus and in the Parish Barn – has a wide range of old agricultural tools on display as well as workshops featuring trades from bygone days. The village even has its own Statue of Liberty.
