Station: [45] Use of the Museum/Membership/Thanks

Two more minutes...

What? Only two more minutes?

then it's over to the news!

Two minutes! For all you out there, I've just heard our slot is coming to an end. With so much left to discover here! But perhaps you'll decide to visit again some time? Because the Metal Roofers' and Coppersmiths' Museum is a real meeting place for the trade. Industry, associations and businesses regularly hold workshops, conferences and seminars in these rooms.

Annually in late April, Germany celebrates its national Girls' Day, when the museum is taken over by young women who are interested in becoming a sheet metal worker, or a tank and apparatus engineer. We also warmly welcome anyone who wants to hold a private party, a wedding or a birthday celebration here at the museum!

The Museum Foundation is always interested in gaining new members. The membership fees help to provide the funding that will allow us to increase the museum's appeal for the future. A monthly bulletin, reduced hiring rates, a chance to have your say – if you fancy becoming a member of the Museum Foundation, the staff at the exit will be happy to provide information!

Fifteen seconds ....

Time for me to say goodbye! Thank you for your interest in our special outside broadcast about sheet metal working and the coppersmith's trade. And remember: next time you see someone scrambling around on a roof... it may not be a traditional roofer or a chimney sweep. Goodbye and till next time from the European Metal Roofers' and Coppersmiths' Museum in Karlstadt. Back to the studio.

And we're out!
