In this role, he is responsible for all concerns relating to the construction site. Master Johannsen is an experienced man, who knows exactly what is to be done. Most of all, he has to keep tabs on all the craftsmen working there. Are they working fast enough? And conscientiously enough? And of course he has to make sure nothing is stolen. Lazybones are his least favourite people. Master Johannsen spends fourteen years in charge of construction, until he can present Rutger with a proud castle.
