After the Lord appeared to me, I spent a few days with the disciples of Jesus in Damascus. I told them in the synagogues what had happened to me outside Damascus. The voice. The blindness. The healing. Full of joy, I testified that Jesus is the Son of God. I really upset them with my experience. They simply decided to kill me. But God arranged for someone to reveal this plan to me and also for the city governor to have their city gates guarded day and night in order to capture and kill me. So we came up with an idea: I hid in a basket and at night my friends let me down the city wall. I narrowly escaped.
