Germar - 4258 units, Collection of N.I. Srebrodolska - 358 units, Collection F.I. Strautman - 1108 units, a Collection of O. Schtodinger - 2119 units, Collection A. Ulyanowski - 5000 units, Collection S.K. Pietrusky - 7460 units. The museum preserves more than 130 type specimens of animals, that is, those which were first discovered and described to science. They come from the Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Brazil, India, Mexico, Australia, Eastern and Central Africa, the countries of Central Europe.
