The need for a mediator between street artists, government and people emerged in modern society long ago. Within this framework the first Street Art Museum (SAM) in Russia appeared. It is situated on the acting Laminated Plastics Factory in the east of Saint Petersburg. Some of their murals are created right on the walls of shops. The Street Art Museum also organizes festivals and educational programs in cooperation with the Russian Museum, Youth Education Center of The State Hermitage museum and St. Petersburg State University. The enterprise occupies almost 11 hectares of a huge industrial zone. On a rough calculation it is about 150 -200 thousand square meters of walls which will be painted by street artists from all over the world. Besides the fact that there are ceilings, roofs and paths here. The last one may become a canvas for the future world record. It will be the largest street art object which could be seen only from 50000 foot. By 2016 about 70 street art objects will be finished in the Museum.
