Das Humanitarium präsentiert seit 2011 wichtige Ereignisse aus der Geschichte der Internationalen Rotkreuz- und Rothalbmondbewegung. Hier werden die Ideale und Grundsätze des Roten Kreuzes vermittelt – und das humanitäre Völkerrecht.

Im Haus Nordrhein zeigen wir seit Mai 2019 eine Dauerausstellung über die 150jährige Geschichte des Roten Kreuzes – auch mit Blick auf das Rheinland. Die Besucherinnen und Besucher erleben eine spannende Zeitreise von 1859 bis in die Gegenwart.

Vogelsang Red Cross Museum is based in the wonderful Eifel Wildlife Park and offers two exhibitions housed in separate buildings: the Humanitarium and the North Rhine House. Two tours that focus on different aspects will guide you through the eventful history of the Red Cross as a human rights organisation.
The Humanitarium, which opened in 2011, presents major events from the history of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent movement. It conveys the ideals and the principles of the Red Cross – and gives an insight into international humanitarian law.

Since May of 2019, the North Rhine House has hosted a permanent exhibition featuring the 150-year history of the Red Cross in Germany, taking the Rhineland in particular into account. Visitors set out on an exciting trip through time from 1859 to the present.
