Station: [4] Handed over by Judas

Jesus was with his disciples on the Mount of Olives late in the evening. There came a crowd of men, people from the temple guard, priests and elders with torches. Leading them was Judas, one of Jesus' disciples. Judas said to them: Now watch out, it's pitch dark: the one I'm about to greet with a kiss is Jesus. Take hold of him. Then one of the men asks him: Why do you want your Lord to be arrested? Haven't you been together for years? Judas replies, "It doesn't matter to you. He acts as if he's a weakling. That drives me half crazy. Jesus sees Judas and speaks to him: Judas. My friend? What do you want from me? You hand me over with a kiss? You went out with clubs as against a robber.
