John the Baptist says: The Savior is on his way to us. I can feel it, it could be any day now. Prepare the way for him. Clean up everything. There is so much lying around in your hearts. He who is coming is stronger than me. I am not worthy to untie his shoelaces. You know I baptize you with water. He - will baptize you with power from heaven. Then Jesus says to him: John! Baptize me! John replies: Never, Jesus! I would have to let You wash me clean. Jesus replies: Baptize me. God wants it that way! We must fulfill God's affection for us. John hesitates: Is this what God wants? And finally immerses Jesus in the water. A voice is heard: Darling you! Darling you!
