Beschreibung
In the 16th century, the Cranach Courts at the heart of Wittenberg (a town closely associated with the Protestant reformer Martin Luther) were home to a celebrated family of Renaissance painters: the Cranachs. The Cranach’s World exhibition takes you back in time – and even presents the occasional original work by the famous artists Lucas Cranach the Elder and Lucas Cranach the Younger. In 2005, the two Cranach Courts were declared architectural monuments of national importance.
